Have you ever been pressured so much by people around you that you just seriously don't know what else you can do?

Somehow feel that on a daily basis. Now that I'm a father of one, I feel it so much more. Day after day, I think about consequences of what I did in the past that WILL haunt me in the next few days or maybe later. Sometimes I feel that pressure is just waiting for me around the corner and just waiting to eat me alive.

What do I have to fall back on when everything goes down? Myself.
It's not that I can't go to my family. It's just that I don't what to.

But somehow, every day I go home and I see the face of my beautiful daughter and my wife, it just seems to go away. Sometimes I just feel like staying at home and be with my daughter so that I don't have to think of the pressures that are awaiting for me the next day.

Working at home and starting a business is an option. But, how much do I know about starting a business? None at all. I can learn about it. Been thinking about it. But, can I do enough to keep the business alive and going for the following years? Especially when It's going to be what I need to support my family.

Right now, thinking so much about it just not a good decision. So, shutting up now.

Here's A little entry I'd like to do every time I been away too long from this humble blog of mine. The main reason for being away too far was because I was just too busy. Busy with my transfer from Mukah to Kuching. Busy with my New Born Baby Girl, Amorette Elisha Soo, Busy with my new Office, Busy with my photography, Busy spending time with my Family and Friends and busy with Forums. Our 1st 09 Vacation

14th March 2009 was our first vacation in the year of 2009. The best part it was that I was going to Genting Highlands and the KL Tower. Never been to both places before in my whole life. So, this is going to be the 1st time. First would be the KL Tower trip, then off to Genting the next day. After Genting, our trip brought us to Masjid India where my wife, sister and mother in-law wanted to buy some cloths. Then it would be back to Kuching for us. A short but memorable trip indeed.

KL Tower Trip

This road trip to KL Tower was the 1st thing in our agenda. The night before, after arriving in KLIA, we were picked up by Uncle Mana where we stayed at his house for the first day of the trip.

Really exited when I saw the view. Since none of us knew how to get to KL Tower my foot, and Unlce Mana had to work, we asked my wife's cousin and husband to be our guide. Never knew that going to the tower would take more than 30minutes. But I guess that was part of the trip. Was kind of worried about my wife's parents. But we made it safe and sound. Thank God. :oD

Needed a whole lot of water when we reached the tower. Was too tired after the walk.

Genting Highlands Trip
The day after our trip to KL Tower, my sister in-law came down from Kedah to join us for our trip to Genting Highlands. After we all woke up and got all our thing ready, we went straight to KL Central to get a bus to go to Genting. Somehow forgot how much the ticket cost but hey, it was my first time to Genting. Didn't really matter then.

Had our lunch at KL Central before departing for Genting since we heard that the food price there were really expensive.

Going Home
All and all, I'd like to say that the trip was a great one. But, after this trip, I've decided that I won't be going to Genting anytime soon because me and my wife are really not the types that loves going to places that are packed with people and the things sold there are more expensive than any High Class shopping complex that you can find in KL.

Best part of the trip was that I get to spend time with my wife before I go back to Mukah.

First of all, I would like to say that I've been living here in Mukah for more than 3 years now and among all the traditional foods that I've tasted, I'd really have to say that the best food I've tasted here is really the dumplings made especially at Sweet Bun Bakery Co. Mukah.

And with all the dumpling they offer which includes Chicken, Chicken w/ egg, Butter, Red Beans and Peanuts, my forever favourite would always be their Vegetable dumplings, presented together in a stacked metal box, which I would love to call the magic box of dumplings because when you open them, they all just look so yummy and pretty.

Or whatever that goes with it. It's now already November and I'm still as big and fat as I was before. Not sure why some things haven't change much. But hey, there's still time to change all that. It's with doing some exercise. Obvious eh?

Well, now that my wife's finally here with me to stay, We've started a new resolution for me (can't believe I needed my wife to start a resolution for me). I've been doing some sports here these few months, especially my favourite sport of all time which is Skateboarding and also been playing football with some of my colleagues here as well. But I haven't been seeing much results though.

So, here I am and It's November and I'm actually doing the exercise I actually don't like to do so much.

Sometimes I always get people telling me that I talk more than what I do. And I have to admit, sometimes I do. Now I'm wondering why do I do it?

a) I just love to do it to annoy other people (including those I love)??

The reason why I say this is beacuse I've been hearing so much about how Cove Reber is unsuited for the job as vocalist in Saosin with their songs and how much people are prefering Anthony Green's voice instead.

In 2 more months our institution is going to hold our very first convocation. It's a real big @$$ deal. I'm not sure what it means to me, but what I know is that I'd be involved with the multimedia part of the whole thing with some of my other colleagues who are also part of our technical staff. The first trial for this multimedia team was our Head of Department's Award. It was decided that it was going to be made more like a convocation style. The day passed nicely. Only bad thing was, I wasn't told about any of this, especially the part that I was actually with the multimedia team.

Anyway, the next day, we had our last day of our multimedia course. But, this time, I was told about it. So, I joined in on the course. After hearing comment on the day before by 3 guest lecturers, I was impressed with what they said. There were more good comments than bad ones. During the course, even got to learn about some new equipments that was bought in lieu with the convocation. Video camera control consoles. Nice. Somehow seemed like something a big tv company would use for TV shows.

Anyway, now I finally know which part I'm involved with and heard that there's going to be a team building course in the near future for all technical staffs. That's good.

Meetings

Meetings,Meetings,Meetings. There's always meetings being held. Doesn't matter what company you work at, meetings will always be held. Bonus question, Why does meetings have to be so long??

This meeting started at 3pm-530pm.

Longest I've been in a meeting was two and a half years ago. The meeting actually lasted from 830am, all the way to 6pm. And I was there doing nothing. To some, It might be fun to just sit and do nothing at all, but for me, it was a real waste of my time. Seriously, 2 hours is already long enough for me. Right??

Fire Drill-erz

30/07/08. That's the date for the 1st ever fire drill being held in our institution. At first we thought that it was just meant for the students, but since this time it was for real, so, all of us went along and went straight to the assembly area.

Students in the hot sun, Staffs in the shade.

As you can see in the picture, the middle are is empty. This was because it was reserved for supporting departments. There were 2. The fire department Officer that arrived declared that all the staff in those 2 departments as "Fried to death", even though they were actually at the assembly grounds. Reason? they were all sitting at the grandstand while the students were on the field. Officially, we were all supposed to be on the field. I guess during emergencies like this fire drill, students were still considered lower than than the staffs. no equalities. But wont they be considered as equals when they get burnt to a crisp?

People and POWER... Something you can never separate. That's life.

Overcome the layzee

It's a new month already and I'm updating an entry at 3am in the morning. somehow have some better idea when I'm updating at this time of the day.

What I'm gonna talk about is wonderment. "What does it mean?" you say? Don't ask me. All I can say about that word is that I'm wondering about something and It's been haunting me for quite some time now.

So now, back to my WONDERMENT. This item is purely IT based. So, anyone who might know how to help out or give me some suggestions or ideas, please feel free to do so.

no more Mr. Pau

I'm currently wondering about the so called water cooled PC system would be better than the conventional air cooled system. As from my previous entry, you can see that my PC is encased in Mr. Pau. But because of some rather disturbing overheating issues I had while my pc was running in the case, I just had to move it out of the freakin box back into a conventional computer case (which I've drilled in as much hole as I can to make way for better air flow for my radiator).

And now that it's in the pc casing, I've installed my Water Cooling System, which consists of a custom CPU water block, a Thermaltake radiator + 120mm fan and a Nirox 2800 pump. All and all, everything installed and running through my CPU, I still can't get the desired temperature that I've heard so much of where some even come close to 20C.

Mine somehow, remained at 40~45C during Idle but rose consistantly from 63~65C during 100% load and kept on going. I'm not sure what's the suitable temp for the CPU, but what I've read, I should try and keep it below 60~65C at load. And this is with a Water Cooled setup. So, what am I doing wrong here?

My wild guess is that because my pump is in my water tank, it kept heating up the water during pumping cycle, so, when it reaches the radiator, the water could only be cooled down to just 40~45C. Is that a good thing? Somehow feel a little uneasy.

So please, anyone, ENLIGHTEN me! tell me something I don't know or doing wrong.

P/s: I'm using a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz (OverClocked to a steady 3.0GHz).

Re-Building and Re-Shaping

We never had any vocalist before. Not sure till when. Sometimes we take turns singing. Sometimes it's me, sometimes it's Frizzol and sometimes it's Julian. We used to have a sessionist Bassist, but he was really hard to contact. We used to have guest vocalist, but that's that as well.

Now, it's been too long since there's any action, I'm wondering If there's going to be much anymore. One of us is really starting to get hard to contact. So, there might be a cutoff and might minus a member.

Go Figure.

First of all, Meet "Mr. Pau"

It's been a while since I've had the thought and idea of doing something with "Mr. Pau aka Mr. Dumpling" and it doesn't involve eating it. But as you all know, dumplings all have something that's put inside for extra taste and flavour eg: Meat, Vege, Butter, etc. That's why I decided to call this document box as "Mr. Pau" because I'm going to put something in it and turn it into something else. Here goes:

It's a complete project, but It's still a prototype. Planning on building a real case with this design later in the future. If budget permits.

It's finally Official. Today is the 15th of June and I've just turned to a tender golden age of midlife crisis and quite possibly wrinkles. If you're saying "there's also white hair", well, I got loads of those before my 16th year, so, It's not a big issue to me.

All and all, I'd have to say that this year is the year where I'm trying to get everything done so that when my wife gets back here, I can spend more quality time with her.
I've already passed 1/4 century of my life. And I'm expecting to spend all of it with those I love and with god's guidance, be successful along the way as well, For my children and their children and for more generations to come.

Invasion KL

Today is the 29th of march 2008 and today is the day I'm going to KL and spend the whole week the with my dear wife. Been planning this trip since 2 months ago. It's been quite some time since I've spend time wth my wife and really looking forward to it.

The part that's even better was my AirAsia flight ticket that was just rm73. It was during the rm0.00 promo in january when i got my return tickets. But the bad part was the fact that the flight was an early morning flight,which is at 9:25am. And the earliest bus from mukah on the same day would usually reach sibu at 9:30 the earliest. That's late. So, my plan was to get a 5:30pm bus from Mukah and spend the night at sibu airport.

At the airport, at first i thought that thy were going to close down n they'd ask me to leave. But good thing i was wrong. An airport police told me that they'd be there till morning and if i wanted to sleep, i could sleep at one of the muslim praying area. So, I'm glad I met up with the police.

Got up at 5 in the morning and I realize that It's been quite some time since I've used airasia to go to kl though. And when i got on the plane,I noticed that its a new plane and all the interiors were remade in leather and they looked really plush n expensive.

Cool eh? Even got an AirAsia.com engraved into the back of the headrest. Real nice indeed. The bad thing was, during my flight, the pressure in the flight was SO intense that my head was really ready to pop! But instead, I got a headache. Maybe that's 1 of the reason I haven't been using AirAsia for so long.

Reached LCCT at roughly 11:30, and after picking up my luggage, went straight outside to catch the 1st skybus to Kl Sentral. Was a little late and the bus was full. So, had to catch the next one. Good thing it's only a 5 minute wait. And then, noticed the the skybus was also new! Got inside and noticed the nice seats and interiors. Very cool indeed.

Brand New Baby!

The even cooler part was the driver. Silent, Friendly and sleepy looking. But he's cool. He's the 1st and only driver that I've ever seen or been on a bus with who drives a big ass bus over a 120KM/h. I don't know if it's because of the fact being that we're in KL and 120 is just the creme of the crop. Just kidding.

Around 1pm, reached KL Central, so I straight away went on and got myself a LRT ticket to Masjid Jamek to get another train to Plaza Rakyat to meet up with my wife. On the train reaching Pasar Seni, I notice some real cool stuff on the walls of the huge drain beside the station. Graffiti arts. Real nice ones too. But the sad thing was, they were being painted over aka removed. It's a real pity because It would be a great place where travelers to see that some Malaysians are real great artists.

Music Room

It's been nearly half a year now since our Polytech got our whole set of musical instruments and it's only been 2 months since our very own Music Club was formed by Hatta. And on the 15th of this month, which was last 2 weekend, they had their 1st live accoustic performance which was in conjunction with the opening of our Red Wave Week that was organized by the Electrical Engineering Department.

The day before, I had the chance to catch a practice session for 1 of the bands that would be playing. And I just have to say that these guys had real mad musical skills. They were really talented. But sadly I couldn't go and catch their performance on that night. But I know the audience would absolutely love their music.

For now my hope is that these guys would hone their talents and take it a step further and maybe more. And maybe a future plan to upgrade the music room will come sooner than later.

I Reached And I Conquered

The date was 20th March 2008. Today was the day that I'm going to set out on my wildest dreams and ambition cause ever since the first time I saw it I knew that I just had to conquer it. And counting the days now and it's close to 3 years since that day. And that day was the time that I just had to do it.

Now some of you might wonder what am I talking about and maybe some of you already know and what I'm talking about is actually my 3 years dream of going up our water tower. Well, some might say that I'm crazy, and some might say it's cool. Now just try imagining going half way up the the Eiffel Tower and looking down on the whole of Paris. That's how I imagined it. At the top, able to see the whole of Polytech Mukah and maybe even more! Cool huh?

Niceeee....

At first I've always thought that going up the tower was just a piece of cake and that it had spiral stairs all the way to the top. But, Boy was I wrong. When Mark and I first stepped into the tower's entrance, I was shocked. The ladder was actually something I would normally see in a WWE Ladder Match. And honesly, I was getting ready to turn back and just go. But somehow, some part of me seem to keep calling me 'Chicken' ( maybe it's my male ego or something ), and so, I decided to go for it and climb the damn thing. Surprisingly, Mark joined me as well. And among all the technician that's working here, the only ones that have not been to the top of this tower was Mark, Me and Sucan. And Mark's a little scared of heights. So, It's more like we're motivating each other while going up.

So we climbed. And after the 1st ladder, I was starting to have my doubts and looking down was not helping at all and there were 5 ladders to climb before we reach the top. And from the pain I was starting to feel in my hands that after reaching the top, going down won't be as easy. And as we went on, I was really starting to feel the pain in my hands as they were already getting red. And after reaching the top, I tried to look down and I really can't believe how high up we were. My knees were really shaky when I got off the last ladder.

And finally we reached the top and the exit door was there. And just as soon as we stepped out of the door, the sights were just breathtaking.

Well, as you should know, every good thing must come to an end right? And knowing that we had work to do on that day as well, we had to cut thing short and go back down. It's a real nice view from the top. And going down the WWE Ladders somehow didn't hurt as much anymore knowing that we conquered the water tower. But then, all I could think of was how to stop my knees from buckling so much. Damn.

Time to go down.. 5 sets of ladders..

Maybe next time we'll bungee jump from the top, eh? hehe.. Cheers people!

On the 2nd of Febuary 2008, My very good friend, Roderic "Mini Me" Robert, got married. Congrats so very much to ya Bro! You're all grown up now! Hahahaha... Part 2 : Beach Trip

Been here for more than 2 weeks now. But still can't accept this place and consider it a great place. Not to say that it's a bad place, but somehow, everywhere we seem to go to, at least someone would come up and say that It's a hard place (Tempat yang Keras). By hard, they mean that it's somewhat haunted or something. Maybe it is, we don't know. what we can do is just accept it. And last sunday, Me and rudoph brought the students to a beach that was just behind the place. Here's some pictures to tell our story. Enjoy.

Disapearance

It's been more than a month since I've aded anything into this blog of mine. Factors ranging from beng lazy and being extremely busy. Currently in Sabak Bernam for a 3 weeks of course. And starting from this update, I'll be updating my blogs with pictures during my course duration here. So, enjoy and if there's anything else, please do let me know. Peace.

Luggage department had a hard time with out luggage.

Spent our whole day waiting at KLIA for the bus. We were forgotten.

Finally the bus came and we were on our way. A 3 hour trip all the way to Sabak Bernam.

Sopped at a pit stop along the way to Sabak Bernam and had our dinner. Payed RM4.50 for Nasi Lemak and a Drumstick. Expensive is the name.

Touched down at Politeknik Sabak Bernam at 10:30pm. Bad 1st day. The pool looked inviting. but can't go in. Sucks...

Today I learned a new and valuable skill. Thanks to my colleague Sucan (aka Amoi).

The skill was how to remove kittykat viruses that's really been a nuisance here. Usually I'd just let Sucan handle viruses, but my boss insisted that I gained that knowledge as well. Took us quite a while to remove those viruses but all were settled. And I gained an extra knowledge! Yay for me! Gonna do PC servicing business next time. Will see.

Money is the ROOT of all evil. That's how it used to be. But now, you just can't go out and say things like that anymore. Unless you're a real devoted person and you are willing to let go of everything that you have and just commit to it. For me, there's no such thing anymore. When I was younger, I used to believe that there were such things where "all you need is each other", "love is the only currency that you need" and "with only love you can survive". I won't say that it's not true because if you're talking about relationships, yeah, I'd say that those words would work. But if you're talking finances, you won't get anywhere at all.

Lately, or more like a long time ago, some friends of mine would promote to me about all sorts of get rich schemes that some guy might have thought of where you can make money when you promote the same thing to someone else. Somehow It's like promoting something to someone that would cause them to lose money. Some of you might say that it's business. Yes, It's true. It is business. Some might say that I'm naive for saying things like this. Well, maybe I am. But I'm just telling about what I'm feeling. And somehow talking about all these schemes, I'm thinking, does anyone else earn much other than the one who started it in the 1st place? Think about it.

So, Is money still the root of all evil? It still is. No doubt about it. But money is also the root of all that helps. Meaning? easy, when you donate money, you help. When you pay for something at a store, you help as well. So, my actual point is, Money is Life. And to live, you need money.

This morning just when I arrived to the office, I saw a sight that was an absolute shock to me. There were dead bodies all around. There were too many to count one by one. I didn't know what actually happened. But what I know is that they were Burnt to death.

Today would be the day where auditors will spend their whole week going through our files and see if our records are straight. Somehow, I wonder what's the point. Usually you would hear people say "Out with the old, In with the new" right? Well, in my case, it's "Keep the old and out with the old... If it's still working that is...". I might sound stupid in that but would make sense also cause it's somewhat similar with the other saying.

The camera makes me look slim. I love it.

You might be wondering what I'm referring to. Well, I'm talking about my new camera. Which is actually an old camera in our family. We had it since I started studying in penang, which was in 2000. That's like 7 years ago. It's a Minolta DiMage X. It's got 2MP, auto focus, 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. Well, some of you might think that it's just 2MP. My handphone's camera is higher than that. It might be true, I'll admit that. But since I've been using my phone to take pictures before this, I seriously can say that my phone's picture quality absolutely cannot compare to this camera. And the best part is, It has a real camera flash! That means it can take night shots even better than my phone can.

But before today, I've had issues with this camera. The battery were already pretty worn out. So, I bought a new battery a few weeks ago through Lelong.com.my, which was the only place that still had the batteries for this camera, and they were quite cheap. So, the battery just arrived today and after charging it at home with a quick charger while having my lunch, It's now good to go! And the pictures are still great.

Last Wednesday, me and some of the guys got a call from a colleague there there was lunch at Kingwood Resort in Mukah. It was kinda cool because it's the first time I'll be setting my foot into Kingwood Resort. The lunch was actually for some lecturers that were having a course. But since they were leaving that evening, they skipped lunch and went out to buy gifts instead. And since the lunch were all paid for, we decided to help out and help ourselves to some of the foods. Free lunch. Hard to find. Hahaha.....

They were really hungry and happy. A great combination.

That's a lot of foods. But it ended up finished in the end.

Ramah Tamah Aidil Fitri

On 28th October, our whole organization held a little get together. Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri since it was just after the National Celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. All the staff came together with their family and we all had lunch together at out canteen. Me and our Unit was in charge of the Backdrop. And since everything was so last minute, not quite much we could came up with. But all and all, things were ok. Some of the foods included some laksa penang, which I haven't ate since I came back to Kuching in 2002. It was great to eat it again. Even though it didn't taste quite the same, but it brought back memories. Other foods included mixed vege salad, Chicken cooked in Kurma sauce and also some fruits. Everything was cool. Didn't feel like going at 1st but, what the heck right? here's some pictures of the event.

Terry Fox Marathon Of Hope

Who is Terry Fox? what's the marathon of hope about? I didn't know the answer for either 1 of those questions. But after reading about "Terry Fox Marathon Of Hope" from Kennysia.com, I found out that Terry Fox was actually a Canadian man who was the 1st person to be diagnosed with bone cancer. And he made an effort to fight it. Even though his leg had to be cut because of the cancer, he still made his runs. he ran a distance of 42KM daily for 143 straight days WITH a prosthetic leg.

I can't even run 2KM a day with both my legs, let alone 42KM a day. This man is truly amazing. Somehow, I really seem lazy compared to him. And he knew that he didn't have long to live but he kept on going and kept on fighting. I really feel like I should start running and for a healthier and better life.

Thank You Terry Fox... You're a true Inspiration... You will always be remembered.

An Anime about a 15 year old boy who became Death (aka Grimm Reaper). And even though at first he didn't even want the powers, he soon realizes that he can actually help people and himself as well. But during his days of banishing evil spirits (aka Shapeless), his mentor (aka ex-Death, Rukia) found out that some of his amazing powers were actually transfered onto his friends as well. And that gave them amazing powers where they used to fight shapeless as well.

But, she has to go to work tomorrow anyway. Just really miss her when she's in Kuching and I'm still stuck here in Mukah. Really can't wait to continue my studies and get transfered to Kuching. Referring to my car, my 2004 1.3 Proton Saga Aeroback, I've had it since the model 1st came out. which was 2004. At that time, the down payment was cheap and we (me and my sister) needed a car bad. That time, we were both working in KL and were both doing sales. Knowing KL, to do sales and go around, you need a car.

It's been 3 years now. And I still have it. It's what gets me around. But looking at it now, I really pity it so much. It's taken so much beating ever since I started working in Mukah. All the trip in and out of Mukah. The way I drive just doesn't make it any better at all. Been meaning to sell it for some time now. But as it turns out, cars nowadays, has just dropped in value so much than what it was a long time ago. So, I'm thinking that since I can't sell it with a good price, I might as well Fix it up and maybe modify it and just keep it till I'm old.

The plan has been embedded in my head for sometime now. Only issue I had back then was the Money. Still have it now though. But since now my job is more secure, I though to myself "Why Not?". So the plan has begun and the wheels are spinning. Maybe won't start today, maybe won't start tomorrow. But what I know is that It's happening before this year ends. starting with the body. Wish me luck Baby.

Last weekend, my parents came to visit me here in Mukah. It was really nice since its been a while since I came back to Kuching. Kinda miss home and everyone there. My parents came on saturday night which was kinda late since it was a 2 day visit. Kinda made the 1st day the traveling day. As soon as they arrived here, straight away we went for dinner at my fav cafe in

Mukah which was AH SOON CAFE. Was kinda nice talking with my parents face to face. Kinda

made me miss my Fiance, Sister and Grandma in Kuching as well. Anyway, after dinner, we

went straight home since my mom was really tired from the trip. At home, after putting away all the stuff that they brought here, straight away my parents went to bed. Kinda reminds me of

home.

The next day, my dad wanted to go to Dalat, which was kinda like a part of Mukah. So, after church that mornin, we straight away went for our trip, bringing along 2 of my colegues who went to church togather with us.

First of, we went by Oya, which was a small village along the way to Dalat. Then we went on to Igan, which we thought was not far, but actually was 22KM from Oya. Kinda far, for me since I was driving. When we reached Igan, We were kinda shocked cause there were nothing much there. Kinda remind me of Oya. Somehow was kinda lost as to where Matu and Daro were from Igan. But we found a signboard that said Matu 44KM and Daro was alot further. My dad wanted to go for it. So, we did. But to our shock, we had to use Ferry to get to Matu and Daro. So, we decided to scrap that plan and get to Dalat instead.

On our way back, we ran accross alot of cows Chillin alongside the road from Igan. It was kinda cool to see cause there were also seagulls that were hanging round the cows and my dad said that they were eating off the cow's lices. Gross, cool and nice were the expressions that came to mind when my dad said that. SO, it was back to Oya and on to Dalat. On the way back, we stopped by Igan Bridge to take some pictures before it was off to Dalat again. Along the way, we ran into a boy riding a bicycle that was modified to look like an American Chopper. It was real cool! Too bad we didn't get to take pictures of it though. Along the road to Dalat, we saw quite a few of real big houses where we assumed belonged to businessmen in Dalat. Can imagine more than hundreds of people come at the same time to visit for chinese new year not having any problems with sitting areas. After feasting our eyes on those huge houses, we reached Dalat General Hospital which was really clean n pretty.... until we reached the other end. A pair of billboards that was put up at the end was destroyed. God knows what happened. but those things looked like it was stepped on by a giant. Totally flattened.

After passing the Hospital, we finally arrived at Dalat which was a small fisherman town about 32KM from Mukah (Estimated). Its quite a small town but nice and calm. Its a great place to shop for fresh fish and other sorts of seafood other than Mukah. Even saw them selling small shark like fishes. Beside the wet market, was the river. Wondered if they just fished at the river and just sell the fish straight away. Even saw some guys racing around on speedboats. And since it was Sunday, there were also the Sunday market where they were selling all sorts of stuff. Kinda reminded me of a smaller version of Petaling Street in KL. One stall especially caught my eyes cause they were selling real cool watches and pouches. Other stalls were more into foods and biscuits made in Dalat. After going around and buying foods and vegetables my mom was getting hungry. So, we decided to look for a place to eat. After going around to nearly every cafes and restaurants, we found only one that was open and still were selling. Others were already closed. So, we went ahead and ordered and took our seats. For me, I still couldn't get myself used to the fact that shops in Mukah and Dalat closes real early everyday. And on sundays, some even closes in the afternoon! Real early if you ask me. After lunch, we decided to head on back to Mukah and get something from the market there and my mom wanted to order some Umai (sushi made in Mukah) to bring home. She even bought some local tidbits and belacan. I guess small places has their specialty in some way. So after all the shopping, we went back home to get some well deserved rest. By then it was already 3pm and half the stores in Mukah were closed.

My parents were going back the next day and I had to go to work. Kinda nice having them around, even though its just for 2 days. Wished my fiance were there with me too. Miss u Lots dear. Can't wait for you to come here.

My Merdeka. Time Worth Spent

First of all, I wanna wish a Belated 50th Merdeka Day to all Malaysians that are reading this. Hope your Merdeka days were as good as mine.

My Merdeka Day has to be the most memorable Merdeka day I've had so far cause I spent it with Her and her parents. Its been 3 months since I've last spent time with her and being with her for the 4 days that she was here was a great time spent together. There were Ups and Downs to this holiday though. But all was well.

1st thing that we did when they arrived here was had breakfast at my favourite chinese restaurant, Ah Soon Cafe. Then,we went to the wet and dry market as per request. It was where they bought lil cute wormies aka Siet. Then we decided to go home and get some rest and start the adventure again later on. After lunch we started on our journey to Dalat before going back to Mukah again. We took pictures. Then, after we reached Mukah, we decided to go relax and have some ABCs. I had my first Milo ABC. It was real nice. After the ABC break, we went back home a decided to call it a day before we head for Sibu the next day.

The Sibu trip was at hand and i couldn't get any sleep at all. And I was supposed to be the one driving. We decided to stop at the dry market to get some souvenirs and more wormies for Her relatives back in Kuching. Then we were off to Sibu. When we reached Sibu, we went to the bus terminal to get bus tickets for her parents to go back to Kuching that night. After that, we hung out at the Bus Terminal while waiting for Her uncle so we can go to his house and relax there for a while before bringing Her Parents to go around Sibu. Went for lunch 1st at a small restaurant near Wisma Sanyan. Then we went to a picnic area in Sibu which is called Bukit Aup (I think that's how Its spelled. Correct me if I'm wrong). Its a real beautiful place on a hill. With a huge pond that had tons of fishes where the biggest one was the size of my thigh! Her Dad brought us to the top of the hill where we could see nearly the whole of Sibu. It was one hell of an exhausting climb, but I have to say that it was worth it. Beautiful view. Then we went down and had some more ABCs and Watermelon Juice. After that, we went back to Her uncle's place to send her parents and then we (Me and Her) we back to Mukah before it was dark.

The next 2 days were pretty bad though cause we both had stomach aches. Which kinda sucked. But the best part of the bad part was spending it with her. And for me, that's the best time worth spent.

Few months ago, I always thought about turning my lil notebook into a mini desktop PC by connecting it to a monitor with external keyboard and mouse as well. Then I started to upgrade my notebook bit by bit. And then, I realized a major flaw in my plans. I was running short on USB Ports! I mean, my notbook only had 3, and the items that i needed 2 connect 2 my notebook's USB ports to turn in into a Desktop PC was more than 3... I was stumped. Looks like I need to get a USB Hub. At first, I bought a USB external Hub... Cheap Sale... RM9 only... Low Yatt... Big mistake... the Hub couldn't support more than 1 Item at a time. DEMMIT... then, i thought long and hard.... then i found and bought the ultimate USB Hub I could find! Jeng Jeng Jeng!

22 Inch Widescreen DELL LCD Monitor!!!!!!!

It's a real Beaut ain't it? hehehe... been wanting to buy a big lcd monitor and tv. Now I have a 22" monitor that I'm Connecting to my laptop to get a bigger picture and all. Also nice to play CS with. hahahaha.... also not forgetting the ammount of stuff i can see and get done at the same time with this monitor. Real nice indeed. Took me quite a while to get used to it's size cause not all programs can be opened and fitted to this widescreen and unless i'm doing web editing or drafting and designing, other programs are just normal and ordinary. But really does looks nice and especially when i'm watching dvds and playing CS.... hahaha...

Recently, I've joined a small business by selling prepaid reloads. And lately, I haven't been that active. well, with all the students here on holiday and the staff are also on leave/semester break. but lately I've also wondered, how much do i actually get back from this small business?? and for me, It's kinda like direct selling. I used to do that kind of business. And somehow, it's just wasn't the thing for me. Maybe last time I had to go run around KL to sell stuff, but this one i just sit and relax and when someone wants to buy reloads, they can actually call or message me for a reload right? well, i guess and hope so.

So, I'm thinkin... can i do this? is it really that simple? is it rewarding enough? is it true that big business started small? I don't know how to answer that though... I'm looking for the answers as well.. hahaha.. so, tell me what you think instead.

what does it mean? what does the word actually does to you? for me, its a word of legends... a cartoon... a friend to me at home when i was a kid... and now... with the movie out and watched... it's amazing... I'd have to say that it was a thrill to watch a movie that I've seriously have been waiting for since it was announced... what was even better is... my fiance loved it as well... and she wasn't actually keen about it at first... but after hearing all the rave that arose from watching the movie itself, she just had to watch it... and glad to hear that she wasn't disappointed... and for me... that would be the best critic i have ever heard by far... MUAH! luv u dear!

It's nearing the end of the month. And I've still got lots more to achive for this year that i haven't been able to do. Seriously can't stand being far away from my dear in kuching and my friends and also my family. It's been a while since i've dove back to Kuching from mukah. but hope to dive home again sometime soon. Been sitting my ass here for so long i've gone blank with what i can actually do here. Been thinking bout going fishing and/or jogging. But so far, No Cigar. Hell, all I've been doing is just sit at home and play CS or just watch tv.

I seriously can't find much reason to motivate myself daily to do some excercise or even chores at home. And honestly, it's a mess.. and i'm still stumped... But hey... It's ok...

Lost...

I was once lost but now am found... hope that would be the truth about my situation for now... i'm getting all lost in this distribution of computers and reposesing of rentals that i actually don't know what to do already... i really need to figure out a schedule and list on what to do 1st... so far, i've gotten the list to distribute... now i just need to collect all the new computers and rentals, and just re-distribute them all over again... what a drag...

Yesterday i got it easy cause i had enough help... but now, i'm all alone with 2 other guys... which is really not enough to even to collect new pc's and re-distribute them... time is not even enough to assemble and configure them... but hope some of the people understand and accept the fact tho... this kind of situation really give an extra challenge to my management skills...

Well... all and all... hope i get things done by today... how it goes later on... i'll post it here again... peace...

finally the day for me to collect rentals have arrived... after re-counting them all over again... nearly 100++ items have to be returned... in fact, when you count a pc... there's more than 1 item on a pc... n that's alot... guess things like these comes with the job... but seeing the other guys working as hard... just makes me wonder... do we ever get paid enough?

but sometimes, i also wonder... should i be thinking about my pay, other than my job? well.. maybe some people say that working with the government has it's perks... sometimes you don't come to work and you still get paid... but i don't think i'd sink to that level... though some would... it's an advantage right? so why not take it? but now... i'm really thinking about starting my own business... my own company... i wonder.... hmmmm....

Feelin a little heavy

it's a heavy morning here in mukah... and even more heavier me... feeling a lil lazy today... not sure what's wrong, maybe i'm already in a holiday mood or what... i'm not sure either... but what i know is that i'm supposed to go to a meeting later today, and i'm seriously not feeling up to it... seriously... feel so heavy... and besides, i have to inform everyone in this organization that their computers are about to be taken away this week... and i'm still trying to figure out the locations of some of the items... i'd like to say i'm screwed, but it's not quite over yet... i can't wait to get back to kuching and spend time with loved ones... and friends too...
Owh! by the way, next month will be mukah's legendary celebration of Kaul Fest... most probrably be taking pics of the event and put up some on this site for viewing pleasures... hahaha... but its still far away to go...so, hope there's gonna be some cool things to report on... so anyway, chaow!

It's a new week, It's a monday, and i'm all alone in the office... with alot of things left to be settled... rentals to be returned to the shop with conditions that even i don't dare to explain... it sometimes make me wonder... why are some kids nowdays are so into destruction and thefts? why would they steal things? while they'd need to use it again the next day? is a mouse so expensive that they have to steal it? but somehow, can afford to buy laptops worth more than RM7K?? it makes you wonder... don't it?

by the end of the week, i'd have to collect what's left of the rentals... and figure out what's missing from them... sometimes my job sucks... but when i think back... it's actually my dream job since i finished secondary school... i guessed i never thought that i could turn out this way... what would we know when we're young right? times changed... growth keeps happening and so do we... circle of life... what a phrase... it's priceless... so here's what i think about this...

Its been more than a week since my last blog.. and can't say that much has happened.. but what i noticed is that i don't have to force myself to read the newspaper anymore... i seem to enjoy reading newspaper every morning when i reach the office... i don't know if that's natural or not... and i'm even reading the football news intensively... i've never even thought of reading football news before... if sports that was in the leagues of extreme games, yeah sure... but now... football? its damn new to me... but hey... always room for changes right? what do you think?

why is it when mondays come, we always seem to have no mood to wake up and go to work or class or anything what so ever? and why do people call it the monday blues? can't really hear any tunes being played though... or maybe its just in our head?

ok, ok... i woke up late for work today... hehehe... not much i can do bout it though cause it just happened... and most probably cause i couldn't sleep last night cause of sudden case of "had to get it finished". what's that you ask? well, i have this lil prob when i do something in the middle of the night... i tend to carry on and on and on until i have nothing else to do. and last night just had to be it... i was up all night fixing and soldering my things that needed fixing... which i knew i couldn't finish cause i didn't have any solder left... which sucks... good thing i forced myself to just go to bed and get it done after i buy some solder... well anyway... all of those just happens to lead to me waking up late for work... and that sucks... really sucks... but hey... its what people call ups and downs of work right?

so anyway... with my mondah blues story said and done... KITA MINUM DULUUUUUUU!!!!.... Peace!

its the weekends again here in mukah... hell.. its the same week after week here in mukah... there's nothing much to do ever here... its been like that since a year and a half ago... its nearly 2 years that i've been working here in mukah... and day by day it sucks even more.... no offence to people in mukah though... its just that going away from the busy city of kuching and moving here to mukah is a real culture shock... even when i go back to kuching for holidays and then come back to mukah, i still get culture shock... i don't know... maybe cause everyone i know are in kuching and those that i'm close to here are from kuching, i just makes me miss kuching... sometimes i wonder why... maybe cause of my work i have to bear with mukah... maybe so... and so far going into town and seeing growth in the town gives hope... hopefully... well... what i know that its slowly growing... and hopefully they'd repair the roads going in and out of mukah... its a real drag... not just on me... but on my car as well... traveling by flight (Twin Otter) doesn't help either... its the first time i nearly threw up in a plane before... it was just so damn uncomfortable. but hey... its mukah right? hehehe... for me, the nicest things bout mukah would be the people, the foods and the prices of goods...

But still... i always think... 'HOME SWEET HOME' when i think of kuching... and even though some times when i'm in kuching, i don't even go out much... but when i do, i go with either my family, friends or my girlfriend... they're what matters most... and my band... its been so hard lately to do what i love which is playing music... jamming with my band... its an activity that i used to do weekly... and now... its more like once in 2-3 months... and that sucks... and watching movies with my friends and girlfriend is also limited to when i do go back to kuching only... mayeb it'll make me appreciate kuching more when i'm in mukah... well lets hope so... either way, i'll take it with a smile on my face...

Is it true what people say that bloggers just have too much time on their hands? cause bloggers always seem to have something to say and post daily. For me its not cause bloggers are actually people who just like to share and inform people about what they're doing and what they've been through.
